Thruxton Supercharged

Postby Sam » Sun May 14, 2017 8:00 pm

So I was around at the big Fella`s last night and took a pic of his engine. He has been sorting out his engine with a Supercharger .The road to this Supercharger has not been an easy one,but after alot of sorting out by the big Fella its 95% sorted.Anyway it now knocks out oodles of HP and torque.
IT seemed to go like stink anyway but I havent had a go of it with said Supercharger but am sure I will cadge a go soon :D .............Oh and this will make a couple smile ,he has had to get his head around fuel injection DEEPLY to sort out some Major probs he had.

Wow, that's great Sam!, he's always tinkering with stuff, getting it to work the way he wants it to work, to hell with the naysayers.
Let us know when you get to take it for a ride.
Regards
Roy

Is he starting a list for test rides? Add me on Sam when you see him.

Must be fun listening to the "technical" language when he's playing with the injection
After me you're first

It's 105ft/lb TQ you Scouse tosser  not NM (142nm)....NM is for Europeans and Australian puffs. :D

Hello chaps, I hope all's well...Yes I've been playing around again. I promised myself I wouldn't touch the engine on this thing, then I thought fuck it, so I touched it and a supercharger appeared :)

It's been a bit of a challenge to say the least but I seem to have got there in the end. I decided to keep it to about 140hp for now because i don't know how strong the crank is and didn't want to push my luck (yet). I'll probably crack the motor later in the year and stick some forged pistons in there and drop the compression so I can take it up to 170hp or so....that's providing I don't blow the fucking thing apart in the mean time.
