New bike

Postby Rob_Wakey » Thu Aug 05, 2021 11:14 pm

Well after going from thenXR to the Fatbob, it’s changed again.

Now gone all rough n ready and have a new Pan America special.

First impressions, comfy, fast, handles, and I like the look.
After me you're first

Hey Rob, I dig those Pan Americas. I haven't had a test ride, but all the reviews I have seen are very positive. Congrats! :D

I'm impressed and I think they will be a good seller

After a BMW R1150GS and a Suzuki V-Strom 1000 it might be a logical next bike for me, and they do it in orange!
I'm not racist, I'll race anyone!

Hi Compo, Geno. Roy. . . .well had it a few weeks now and I love it. . . Power. . Comfort . . .handles . . . I really think they’ve hit the nail on the head. . .maybe that’s why they’re hard to get hold of at the moment.

Yea Geno, seems everywhere I look they are sold out. . . also getting any accessories is hard or on a long back order.

Managed to get the radiator guard and just fitting fender extenders front and rear as one o the well known suppliers (Pyramid) has just released them.

Still debating whther to get a top case, dont want side ones (panniers to me) as I have enough soft luggage for touring but a secure top case may be useful.

Looking forward to ext spring so I can take it over to our place in France, plenty of great roads to explore without having to travel huge distances.

Already think I have Art coming over in May (he invited himself!) so we can go to the French MotoGP as the Le Mans circuit is only about an hour and a half from my place over there.
